The
goal is to implement a more comprehensive strategy focusing on HIV/AIDS
awareness, education, and prevention.
The
HIV/AIDS pandemic is devastating Africa and its middle class,
including educators, business
leaders and government officials. The
disease continues to
threaten the social and economic
progress made during the last two
decades . A disease that
attacks the most productive
segment of the society, leaving thousands
with no parents, no food, and no shelter for
sanctuary.

Training
of trainers in HIV/AIDS prevention through Education &
sensitization, breaking stigma, communication
& social barriers.

Mitigate
the impact of STD HIV/AIDS by facilitating behavior modification
targeting high-risk groups.

Reduce
mother-to-child transmission of HIV/AIDS
-
Increasing
the capacity of NGOs and social agencies
supporting people living with HIV/AIDS, their caregivers,
families and survivors.

Strengthen
support systems for decent livelihood of orphans victimized by
HIV/AIDS.
-
Reduce
the impact of HIV/AIDS transmission and the HIV/AIDS pandemic in
Africa.

Increase
knowledge and use of effective sustainable interventions which
focus primarily on preventing the sexual transmission of HIV by
changing sexual behaviors of at-risk population

To
expand the health management logistical capability to ensure
availability of high quality effective condoms for distribution to
sexually active at-risk population
-
Increase
local capacity to prevent infection and selected support for those
already infected, their care givers and survivors
-
New
and improved means of reducing transmission developed through
clinical research and survey of infected individuals
